Health Guarantee

A & B Kennels has a two-year guarantee against Crippling Canine Hip Displasia and any/all genetic defects as long as the dog has not been bred. All genetic testing and x-rays to be completed or an evaluation performed at the age of two years. If the dog is found to be cripple from displasia, the dog will be replaced or a credit given on another pup upon written verification from a certified OFA or Penn Hip D.V.M. and the x-rays must be sent to A & B Kennels along with the Tattooed Identification Number of the dog and the x-rays...(they must match) ASAP for our vet to confirm the diagnosis. The dog must come back higher than the median score, with Degenerating Joint Disease (D.J.D), for a replacement of or a credit on the dog. The owner then has three options... putting the animal down, keeping and spaying or neutering or returning the animal and the registration paperwork on the dog for the first available pup of the same sex. All shipping on returns will be at the current owners expense. Proof of euthanasia and spay or neuter is required for a replacement or credit. We also guarantee that the dog will be of stable temperament at the time of delivery. Guarantee is void if mistreated, abuse or lack of socialization or any type of neglect is evident in the dog. The purchaser shall return the dog at their expense in exchange for another dog of equal value or credit.

Purchase Contract

A&B American Bulldogs as said in this agreement is the breeder and seller of said pup. Said pup is a (sire)_________________ X (dame)_________________ pup and is a (male or female). Said pup is described as (color/markings)___________________________________. Both parents of said pup are register under said registry_______________________________. And are registered as full blooded American Bulldogs.

The purchaser of said pup _________________________ agrees to abide by all terms and conditions herein.

1. Pup is to be examined by a veterinarian within 48 hours of delivery. If said pup is found to be other than healthy by the veterinarian it shall be returned to A&B immediately and the pup will be replaced with one of the same sex, age and value as soon as one is available. A&B reserves the right to have said pup examined by our veterinarian.

2. A&B guarantee's a stable temperament at the time of delivery of each and every dog or pup as does so for 7 days from the time of delivery or pick up. You take full responsibility of making sure the dog is trained and socialized. If for any reason you feel a dog has an unstable temperament it is up to the purchaser to contact A&B immediately and to contact a certified trainer at that time to evaluate said dog or pup. We must then get a full written report from the certified trainer of the problem and A&B then has the right to evaluate said pup or dog. A&B also reserves the right to speak to the trainer and discuss the problem further.

3. The buyer resumes all responsibility to carry on with all appropriate vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule to keep pup in top physical shape. Buyer also agrees to yearly examinations, heart worm testing and preventative, and any other usual procedures necessary to assure good health.

4. Purchaser also agrees that if for any reason you cannot care of puppy the buyer must contact A&B and we will either take the pup back or assist the buyer in placing the dog in a proper home. The buyer agrees that said pup will not be taken to a shelter or pound.

5. Purchaser also agrees to provide A&B with monthly photo's and updates on said pup.

6. A&B agrees said pup to have acceptable hip joint confirmation as determined by OFA or Penn Hip. If the dogs hips are rejected for OFA or Penn Hip before the age of 2 and the dog has not been bred or studded A&B will replace this dog with another pup of comparable value from the next available litter. Replacement pups will be of the same sex and breed as the original pup unless otherwise agreed to by both parties and placed in writing. (Please read our guarantee)

A&B is bound by this agreement if and only if the following conditions are met by the original purchaser of the pup. A&B must be notified of the OFA or PH results within 30 days of postmark. OFA and PH rejections and a written statement from the licensed veterinarian who performed the x-rays must be sent to A&B. The buyer has the following options before receiving a replacement pup, The pup can be returned to A&B at buyers expense along with a veterinarian health certificate and all shot records, the pup can be euthanised or the purchaser has the option of keeping the dog and having the dog spayed or neutered.

6. A&B also reserves the right to have dog returned if for any reason we feel the dog is being neglected or abused. This is based on the condition and personality of the dog.

7. Any pup sold for a pet home will be required to Spay or Neuter and will come with a spay/neuter contract. All pups sold on a spay/neuter contract will be subject to withheld paperwork until spay or neuter is complete and vet records are received and must be completed prior to the pups age of 7 months. If spay or neuter is not completed all paperwork will be revoked and the pup is to be returned to A&B with no refund as per our guarantee and or contract.

8. If a pup is sold with limited registration or breeding restrictions, then prior to the dogs 2nd birthday for females and 16 month birthday for males. A&B and the owner will discuss and make all decisions on whether the dog will or should be bred and all paperwork will be held until a decision is made.

By signing this agreement the buyer understands this contract and has read and understands our guarantee and also understands it is binding and is aware of the puppy only guarantee. No cash refunds for any reason.

Our guarantee will also be dealt with on a case by case basis and any or all terms and condition must be met. This will be determined by A&B.

This guarantee is for the original purchaser of the pup and cannot be carried to another owner.
